It wasn’t exactly random, but we went shopping for Dr. Bear’s Closet at Children’s National Hospital. We checked out their wishlist in advance. My kids love LEGO, and I’ve seen firsthand how getting a new set can brighten a dark day and provide hours of entertainment. We had a blast picking out LEGO sets and other toys. They do a lot of drives during the holidays, so it was nice to stock them up when they were running low.
