ARG is pleased to share that James Larsen, President, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Technology Channel Sales Professionals (TCSP), the only nonprofit association dedicated to ensuring the prosperity and future of telecom and IT agents.
TCSP serves as an independent advocate for the technology advisor channel, representing agents’ interests in Washington, D.C., and with suppliers and distributors. The organization works to protect the long-term strength and viability of the advisor model while providing members with industry resources, peer connections, and a collective voice.
ARG is a corporate member of TCSP, and Larsen’s appointment to the board strengthens that relationship, giving ARG a direct voice in shaping the organization’s mission and priorities.
Larsen brings more than 30 years of channel experience to the role. Before joining ARG, he served as CEO of Cost Management Group and co-founded iTEMize Technologies, a technology expense management company recognized by Gartner, and NetGain Communications, which ARG acquired in 2009. At ARG, he helps guide the company’s strategic direction and applies his M&A and operational experience to drive growth and strengthen the business.
“I’m honored to join the TCSP Board and contribute to an organization that plays such an important role in advancing professionalism, trust, and collaboration across our industry,” said Larsen. “We share a common belief that lasting success comes from serving others, and I look forward to supporting TCSP’s mission to strengthen the trusted advisor community for the benefit of its members, partners, and the clients we serve.”
“James has been building, scaling, and participating in this channel for more than 30 years, so having him join the board is a natural fit,” said Mike Shonholz, CEO of ARG. “We believe strongly in the channel and the value it provides to clients, and advocating for its long-term sustainability has been part of ARG’s history from the beginning.”
